Your website may not be your real problem.

Before a redesign, look at the offer, the customer journey and the handoff.

Start with the journey

A website is one touchpoint in a larger customer experience. If visitors cannot understand the offer, get a useful response or complete a booking, a new visual design may leave the underlying problem in place.

Find where people stop

Walk through the experience as a customer. Can you tell who the service is for? Is the next step clear? Does the enquiry reach the right person? What happens after someone submits it? Record the friction at each step.

Turn observations into requirements

Replace vague requests such as “make it modern” with a useful outcome. For example: a customer should be able to understand the service, check the booking process and request an appointment on a phone without calling for clarification.

Make a focused change

Choose the most consequential point of friction and address it first. A clearer service page, fewer booking steps or a more reliable response process may be a better initial investment than a complete redesign.
